Performance
My approach to touch of sound places awareness at the centre - the present moment now, without any judgement. But the natural answer to becoming sensually aware and alive is the wish to find ways of expression, to find other musicians and audience for sharing the joy and excitement of performing.
Choral singing
Since 2012 I have been directing the Taborchor at the Taborkirche Kreuzberg. It is a vivacious, creative group of c. 20 singers of all ages. We have weekly rehearsals where we work on traditional church music (e.g. Palestrina, Schütz, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Fauré, Herzogenberg, Distler, Rutter). But our rehearsal process also includes my experiences with energetic voice and bodywork. That makes rehearsals very fresh and lively and gives the singing a spark that also touches the listeners. Working language is German but non-German speakers will be helped in English!
Chamber choir
I also arrange projects now and then where musician friends and I work on and perform in small groups of singers. My special love is Renaissance and Baroque Music.
Piano, Organ
If time and energy allows I also play organ recitals or living room concerts at the piano.
